Natural dyes greater UV protection

Natural Dyes offer same or more protection than synthetic dyes from UV radiation.
Studies at the University of Colorado compared the protection of fabrics dyed with natural dyes and conventional chemical and established the first protected skin better than the latter found a positive correlation between the weight of the fabric and values of UV protection. The dyed with natural dyes greatly increase protection capacity of the three constructs studied material. Furthermore, within the same tissue type increased protection with a more solid values. CONCLUSION: Cotton fabrics dyed with natural dyes increase the capacity of tissues in relation to its UV protection and can be considered as effective protection against the sun. UV protection is further enhanced with colorant of dark tones and a high concentration of the dye in the tissue.
